Is see's the large creatures, convinced they are real he thinks of fleeing from them, but they surround him. He begins to feel a state of panic as they approach closer to him, with nowhere to run he tries to hit them, but to no avail. One of the beasts touch Is and everything goes dark for Is.

Soon Is see's a bright light and, more importantly, he see his old friend, Van Qelsh, who is clearly moved upon seeing his friend joining him. He still amanges to smile.

You were actually really badass from what I saw.

Is is dead.

The rest of the party simply watches as Is drops to the ground DC 15 Heal reveals he is clearly dead, DC 15 spot he is clearly not moving at all..

Serves the mortal right for harming me earlier. And it's not over yet! Behold!

All the green 7's change color, they are now red 3's

You stand no chance. Surrender and your deaths will be slightly less horrifying than the one experience by your friend.

Oh, also don't forget that doing over 50 damage at once forces a massive damage save: DC 15 Fort (you never know... it could be a failure)

Also I really hope I didn't just kill a party member...

Hey guy's tomorrow I leave for Boston, so IDK if there will be a post at all for a bit. Prob by Monday or late Sunday. But worst case scenario, by Wednesday.

Dreamscape Room

Spunky swing's his claw hard downwards towards Hiro, it disappears into a whiteness, and reappears in front of Tiefling 4, his claw slashes into Tiefling 4... and continues to travel down, completely cutting the Tiefling in half.

Tiefling 3 moves to J6 and swings his whip at the Demon, it disappears and then reappears behind Eldin. His whip strikes into Eldin's back dealing 14 DMG.

His belt then glow's, moving absurdly quickly he swings his whip at the demon again. The whip reappears behind Eldin and slashes him across his back again, dealing 30 DMG. 44 DMG total to Eldin.

Tiefling 1 spins his whip around his body, the dagger at the end of the whip swing around until it's pointed at his own backside, where it disappears into the whiteness. It reappears behind Hiro, who is ably to barely dodge it in time. He realizes it was a good idea to strenght drain the Tiefling, as the whip was moving quite slow.

The Tieflings belt glows like the belt that belonged to Tiefling 3, and he attempts the same maneuver No, I don't mean Tome of Battle. Hiro, not expecting another attack so quickly, doesn't dodge the spiked dagger whip a second time and gets hit, taking 17DMG.

Eldin's turn on initiative.

In perhaps what is the most brutal and disturbing thing to have occured in AU so far.

Mr. Scruffy, the tentacled warrior swings his tentacles brutally at Eldin, they all vanish into the whiteness and reappear near poor Tiefling 3. For those of you have seen enough hentai to know where this is going internet meme... Tiefling 3 dies a horrible death.

Ok. DM ruling: A Nat 1 still has a chance of a critical failure resulting in someone hitting a teammate, this is for consistency's sake. Hiro however was not near anyone at the time other than Spunky. Here is an update of everyones positions real quick:

Demon: I7
Hiro: E7
Spunky: F7
Eldin: G3 (ceiling)
Umkelt: H8

I think that's all correct. Stuff has sucked the past 3 days so I been really busy (it will get less busy tho and I will update better by fri). I'm really sorry guys.

@Phillip. Keep in mind Eldin is confused. You have to roll a % to determine what he does every round for 4 more rounds (you forgot last time but it's k).


Hiro swings downward at Spunky, but at the last moment loses grip on his Guisarme and misses.

The demon laughs and taunts Hiro, "Of course you would miss! You're not useful for much other than provoking mindless barbarians are you?"

Hiro hear's the demon whisper to him "Where's your little imp friend lover boy? Are you going to weep for your friend Mortal? Weep for those you have lost?" Hiro is reminded of Qarr's death and for some reason feels extremely upset about the loss Roll DC24 Will save or Hiro is dazed for 3 rounds as he contemplates every loss in his life.

Enough Games! shrieks the demon!

The number 3's turns into green 0's


He then runs to Spunky and bites him. Spunky takes 21 damage and 1 Con damage.

At the sight of Is' death, Umkelt releases an overwhelming howl, not through its mouth, but through its entire body, sending vibrations through the room. It turns to the demon, the one clearly responsible for the death of its master, and coils itself around the monstrosity, intending to choke the thing to death, or die trying.

The demon attempts to bite umkelt as the ashworm wraps his body around his foe. However, he is unable to bend downward in time as the worm begins to squeeze him. The sorrowsorn demon, seeing he cannot bite Umkelt, instead attempts to force Umkelt off him, but is unable break free from the grapple.

"Unhand me you filthy worm! the Demon shouts.

It is now Spunky's turn on Initiative.

As Is stands in front of Ven'Kelsh the brightness behind Ven'Kelsh slowly fades revealing Ven'Kelsh's surroundings. It appears the two are standing in a massive desert, the sky is an odd orange Hue. Despite the appearance of the location, the surroundings are cool and refreshing. Sand seems to be whipping around in a light sandstorm, but Is feels none of the sand hitting him, it's as though the sand merely passes through him.

Far behind Ven'Kelsh is a massive lighthouse. It looks like it's made of solid marble. Despite how far away it looks and how much it's obscured by the sandstorm, Is can still tell that the lighthouse is more massive than any structure he has ever seen. At the top is a searchlight, that shoots a blue beam far into the distance.

Ven'Kelsh's face drops a little, making him appear more forlorn from when Is first saw him.
"It's been a while huh?", his voice revealing some regret he is clearly trying to hide.
