You can see the whole thing if you right click the picture and select 'view image' Crom.
It's mildly less convenient to be sure, but it's not too big a deal.

It isn't the skin, it is the forum set to have an unchanging width.

So Eadhaolin is the name of that place? I didn't know. Thanks. I'll put that up then. I know nothing about Chaos' nation. This is probably still wrong, but I'll keep working at it until I get it right. Also sleeptyme naow.

Re: The Map of Ara'niel
Nice. The only two things I saw wrong was that there was a southern city in Eadhalion next to the spine that should be next to the top fork of the lowest spiking out of the main one in Eadhalion next to the black mountain.
Of the two cities right beside each other on the eastern half of Imperator, the lefter and less black one needs to be moved in a straight line from the nearby river spike next to the black mountains.
(I'll just try and edit it with MS Paint later to show it).

Re: The Map of Ara'niel
Hey, just wanted to check: The third map in the OP is the most current map? Or is the one 6 posts above this one the most current? I'm asking b/c in one in the OP has the 3-way split cities Kirath, Visnia, and Nasdem, + labeled geographic features, but the one 6 posts up has that place Edhaolin that's next to Imperator. Are both locations still valid, or is one no longer there? Or is Edhaolin just not on the OP map yet?

Re: The Map of Ara'niel
Also, Ara'neil is a globe, so is there just nothing on the other side of the world, or is the planet kinda small/the continent FREAKING HUGE and wraps all the way around the globe?

Re: The Map of Ara'niel
Right now we only have a map of this continent. The way I can purchase a map of just the United States. The one by Tuv on this page I believe is the most recent though all of them seem to be lacking some key information (Sword States being the big one). And while we're on this topic chaos can you please adjust the forum settings so people can change the width?

Sorry, are the "Sword States" Kirath, Visnia, and Nasdem? If so which article gave them that name? I've not read through everything yet.

The United Principalities of Tryvold. They are referred to by most foreigners (and quite a few of the local residents) as the Sword States.

Re: The Map of Ara'niel
That hasn't been on ANY of the maps yet posted in this thread though right? I thought I looked over all of them for changes that were being made at each step? Where do they belong (ish?)

Re: The Map of Ara'niel
They border Eadhaolin's eastern side. They currently constitutes what you might call the the "Big Five" of Ara'niels mainland. Those five being Imperator, Eadhaolin, Atimar, the Sword States, and the Conclave.

Re: The Map of Ara'niel
You mean in that space between the two really really thin mountain ranges? Southeast of the red area marked as Atimar and kinda north of Mearc?

Re: The Map of Ara'niel
Indeed. Though just for clarification, since they appear on the map, they are probably quite large in reality.

Re: The Map of Ara'niel
What, the mountain ranges? I was just speaking relatively, since the other mountain ranges on the map are just far larger still.

I understand. Again just a clarification.

Re: The Map of Ara'niel
So, here's another question: There's discussion of climate for each nation/regional powerbase, but do we know where the equator is? I mean, since there are other continents (we just have a map of the one though) do we actually know the size of this continent relative to the actual size of the globe? And its relative position? Seems like that might be good to know.

Re: The Map of Ara'niel
Nothing official but we've had have previous discussions about the chain of islands north of the mainland being tropical so I imagine the equator would be around there.

Re: The Map of Ara'niel
Oh, wow, so the world is a LOT bigger than this continent. At bare minimum, even if the continent is wide enough to wrap around the world, there's still 50% of the globe undefined.

Re: The Map of Ara'niel
Okay, so I think we should make a decision on how large the world is. We have one "southern continent" (that's what the history of humankind article described it as) mapped, there's been note that the island chains on the northern part of the map are tropical, so the equator is probably there-ish, and we know that the northernmost landmass was the contintent that blew up after the tillbury incident. So we know that at least within the scope of however many degrees longitude this map is wide that there's not much in the way of land to the north of our map.
However, as I said we don't know the width of the map relative to the size of the planet. So for simplicity's sake either 180 degrees or 360 degrees of the full planetary longitude should be the width of that map (imo), depending on if we want to leave room for another side of the planet to fully flesh out or if we want to stick with the continent and history we've already got and not complicate the world too much further in that regard.
Would this thread be the place to decide that kind of thing, or is there another location/do we need a new separate thread for this kind of discussion?

Re: The Map of Ara'niel
RoKK likely consists of more continents but right now our focus is on Aran'niel.
