Evocation

Wandering souls inhabit the wasteland that is the Spectral plane. However, there are many places where the boundary between the Corporeal and Spectral are thing, especially at sites where many people died.

Thus, ghouls and specters are often reported to be seen around ancient battlefields and large cemeteries. There exist some people, however few, who are able to better sense the closeness of the Spectral Plane and communicate or entice the souls of those dead. This art is known as Evocation.

Evocation covers communication with the souls of the dead and the detection of a soul’s presence.

Note: Evocation is somewhat messy at this point, so it can easily be done away with if we don’t like it. It doesn’t have any grounds in lore yet.

Definitely needs building on but sounds fun.

This is mostly just minor expanding on some things I wrote up a long time ago, so yeah, a lot of work needs to be done.

I have a small idea to help flesh this out. I will write it up soon as I post up Francia.
